Dr. Hettrich is a NYS certified school psychologist, licensed psychologist, and diplomat of the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Dr. Hettrich works full time as a school psychologist within an elementary school on Long Island. She is on the NYASP Executive Board as the Membership Co-Chair. Dr. Hettrich recently served on the New York Dyslexia Task Force and is a co-author of Evaluating for dyslexia in the schools: Guidance for screening, intervention, and evaluation (2025, NYASP). Dr. Hettrich has provided assessment and intervention for individuals with developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Developmental Disorder for over 20 years.
