Emily Derrenbacher is the Youth Project Manager at the NYS Office of Mental Health’s Suicide Prevention Center of New York (SPCNY). In her role, Emily bring suicide-centered lived experience and a passion for creating suicide safer communities for all students, staff, and families.
Through passion, advocacy, and a wealth of knowledge, Emily works with school districts and youth-serving organizations across the state to training and support in best practices to build suicide safer school communities through policy and procedures, training, and technical assistance.
