Dr. Rachel Fidler (she/they) is a PRODiG+ fellow and lecturer in the Counseling and Psychological Services Department at SUNY Oswego, which occupies the land of the Onondaga and Haudenosaunee people. Dr. Fidler seeks to dismantle systems of oppression as they manifest in school psychology research, teaching, and practice while working to build systems of care that are culturally and linguistically sustaining. Their research focuses on translating critical theory to praxis through participatory research methods that engage community members as co-researchers, elevate the priorities of those marginalized by school psychology, and drive actionable transformation of the field. As a bilingual school psychologist, Dr. Fidler also presents and consults on topics related to supporting multilingual K-12 learners and bilingual school psychology trainees.
