Officer Bruce White has been with the East Fishkill Police Department since 2008 and has served as a School Resource Officer (SRO) at both John Jay High School and Orchard View Alternative High School since 2020. Prior to his role as an SRO, Officer White worked as a NYS Court Officer, serving in the Westchester County Supreme Court, Newburgh Criminal Court, and Dutchess County Family Court. He began his career in law enforcement after graduating from the Correctional Services Training Academy in 1995, and spent ten years working as a Correction Officer at Sing-Sing and Downstate prisons.

Officer White holds a variety of professional certifications, including: School Resource Officer (SRO), Defensive Tactics Instructor, Crime Scene Technician, Community Resource Officer (CRO), Instructor Development Course (IDC), Crisis Intervention Training (CIT), Field Training Officer (FTO), and Juvenile Officer (JO ).

Officer White is a frequent presenter on school safety, community policing, lockdown procedures, and trauma-informed approaches to emergency planning.
