Elizabeth Rizzi, MA is a certified School Psychologist and CSE Chair in the Millbrook Central School District. Previously, she was a School Psychologist at John Jay High School in the Wappingers Central School District for 18 years. She is the Parliamentarian of the New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP), and plays a leadership role in advancing the profession across the state.

Professor Rizzi earned her Master’s degree and completed her training at Marist College (now University), where she now serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. In addition to her work in schools and higher education, she consults with Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES, specializing in Threat Assessment and Mental Health during Crisis.

She is a certified trainer in multiple areas, including the Comprehensive School Threat Assessment Guidelines (CSTAG), Suicide Safety for Teachers and Staff (SST), and PREPaRE Workshops 1 & 2. Elizabeth regularly presents on topics related to school safety, mental health, wellness, and crisis preparedness. She is also a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer.

Her professional interests include school safety, learning disability assessment, cross-battery assessment, teacher consultation, and school-based counseling aimed at improving student outcomes. A strong advocate for health and wellness, Ms. Rizzi brings this passion to all areas of her life—both personally and professionally.
