Dr. Emma Leah Hettrich is a New York State licensed Psychologist and certified School Psychologist. She works in an elementary school on Long Island and is on the executive board for the New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP). Her main areas of interest include assessment and intervention for students with Dyslexia as well as Autism Spectrum Disorders. In addition to her work as a school psychologist, Dr. Hettrich served as an adjunct professor at St. John’s University for ten years, where she supervised graduate students completing psychoeducational evaluations for learning disabilities and behavioral disorders at the St. John's Center for Psychological Services. Dr. Hettrich has presented on various topics related to assessment, intervention, and consultation at local, state, national, and international conferences.
